History

LINE was founded in 1989 as LINE TV by Piers Lea, our CEO. Back then, he brought a fresh vision to the world of digital learning and corporate communications. Since that time, the world has changed, and LINE has changed with it. Digital learning has been revolutionised by the rise of the internet, multimedia, rapid development, Web 2.0 and computer games, and LINE has flourished by embracing these changes enthusiastically.
In 1989, we had a four-person team working out of a small room in West London. Now, our team is more than 100 strong, spread over offices in London, Zurich and Sheffield. We’ve also cultivated an impressive international client base in the public, corporate and defence sectors. But no matter who we’re working for, LINE’s dedication to our clients never wavers, and we’re always looking for new ways to make learning campaigns effective.
