Learning in the palm of your hand

LINE has been developing content for mobile devices since 2001. We produced two collaborative projects with Palm in Santa Clara, US, demonstrating our early awareness of the learning potential of mobile systems. In the first project LINE was able to deliver sophisticated mobile e-learning for the Palm device that included the principles of health and safety, e-business basics, complete with video and all of which tracked user progress and assessment, relaying scores to a central system.

In addition LINE developed content for a Paris fashion show where information was pre-loaded onto Palm devices and distributed to guests and attendees. The content included a show guide as well as details of local hotels and restaurants.
