LINE wins two awards from Brandon Hall
LINE Communications, one of Europe’s leading learning and communications companies, has been awarded two major international accolades at the 2009 Brandon Hall awards. Based in California, The Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards is in its 15th year and recognises the best in innovative learning content, technology and initiatives in workplace learning. LINE won two gold awards: one for Best Custom Content for a military programme called Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and the other for Best Blended Learning Programme for work carried out with IKEA called Discovering the IKEA Concept. LINE faced stiff competition with this years awards attracting over 300 entries from 20 different countries.
These accolades complete a year of significant achievement for LINE, whose CEO, Piers Lea, was presented with an award for Outstanding Industry Achievement at the E-learning Awards which took place in London earlier this month. At the same ceremony LINE also gained an award for Excellence in the Production of Learning Content.
In October, LINE won the highly coveted UK National Training award for Partnership and Collaboration. This major haul of internationally important awards and the independent confirmation of LINE being the UK’s market leading provider of bespoke e-learning content*, are important milestones for LINE as it begins preparations to celebrate 21 years in the learning and communications business.
