Platform, tools & delivery

We are respected for our impartiality, technical depth and knowledge of technical issues relating to e-learning. We have technical teams in London and Sheffield that can advise, design and implement at every step of the process.
Compatibility
Our technology, courseware and communications fit the Learning Management or IT infrastructures used by governmental, educational and corporate organisations. We deploy the full range of current programming tools and software and have developed learning content for alternative devices such as PDA and touch-screen.
Accessibility
We believe technology-based learning should be accessible to all users. It’s a complex and changing area and we work in partnership with clients to confirm their interpretation of guidelines and legislation. Our materials have been extensively tested in speech browsers and assessed with software such as the BOBBY accessibility audit tool. We use tools and processes that are recommended by the RNIB See It Right standards.
We facilitated the generation of SCORM guidelines for the MOD to use with their e-learning suppliers. Read about our work in the Defence sector.
We collaborate with partners using their technology to deliver sophisticated solutions.
Mobile Capabilities
LINE has been developing content for the mobile market since 2001. Back then our first applications delivered combined interactive scenarios and video content on the Palm Pre.
Since then the technology has progressed significantly with LINE now producing a range of complex learning nuggets, decision support and scenario content for the mobile market. Predominately, for the Apple iPhone, we have expertise with a broad range of technologies including Microsoft Mobile and Google Android.
The mobile market moves very quickly and we are actively exploring this space to both specifically develop and port existing materials to give our clients on the go access to e-learning.
“We’re delighted to work with a company whose staff can work across, integrate, and advise on all aspects of technology end-to-end – and who don’t hide behind jargon, get fixated on the latest technologies or form irrational attachments to particular vendors.” – PwC Consulting
