Marx may have been wrong on many things but even modern economists agree that he was right in seeing that almost everything gets commoditised. E-learning is no exception.
The generic content market has been commoditised down to one main vendor with some second-string players. The corporate LMS market has gone the same way, as has the educational VLE market.
